This Summary identifies certain amounts which DWS Waste Solutions LLC (“DWS”) may charge its customers in connection with the services it provides, as well as a brief explanation of each charge. If DWS elects to apply any of these charges to a customer’s account, such charge(s) will be included in customer’s invoice. The decision to apply any of these charges belongs to DWS alone. It may elect to apply the same in its sole and absolute discretion.


These charges are in addition to the service fees reflected in the Non-Hazardous Waste Service Agreement and/or Master Services Agreement (collectively “Service Agreements”) between the customer and DWS. From time to time, DWS may modify this list of charges and/or their descriptions. DWS will notify the customer whenever this list of charges, or any descriptions of one or more such charges, is modified.


Fuel Surcharge: The Fuel Surcharge (or "FSC") is a fluctuating, recurring charge that allows DWS to cover its fuel costs, which are subject to fluctuating market prices.


Wait Charge: A Wait Charge may be applied when a driver is required to wait longer than a reasonable amount of time to complete service due to reasons beyond the driver’s control.


Dry Run Charge: A Dry Run Charge may be applied when a scheduled service cannot be completed due to due to reasons beyond the driver’s control. For example only, such reasons may include, among other things, the inability to access a customer’s property or DWS’s equipment, scheduling issues caused by the customer, etc.


Relocation Charge: A Relocation Charge may be applied when DWS relocates a dumpster after delivery, whether at the request of the customer or because DWS determines in its judgment that relocation is necessary for reasons of safety, access or efficiency.


Emergency Delivery Charge: An Emergency Delivery Charge may be applied for any orders, work orders, or purchase orders requesting service outside of normal weekday business hours (7 AM – 4 PM) or for services requested to be completed upon same-day notice.


Excavator Dig Out Charge: An Excavator Dig Out Charge may be applied when a dumpster or compacting unit (i.e. self-contain, receiver box, stationary, etc.) is filled with material of such density or quantity that extraordinary measures or machinery is required to empty the dumpster.


Restricted Materials Charge: A Restricted Materials Charge may be applied if any dumpster or other equipment provided to the customer by DWS is found to contain any Excluded Material (as defined in the Service Agreements) at the time of pickup, or during transportation or disposal of waste materials.


Credit Card Processing Fee:

A credit card processing fee will be assessed per transaction for payments made using a credit card.


All additional fees must be paid according to the payment provisions of the Service Agreements. In addition to any other remedies available to DWS under the Service Agreements or applicable law, DWS may charge the customer a late charge for any delinquent payment at the rate of 2.5% of the outstanding balance per month during delinquency.


Convenience Fee:

A convenience fee may be applied to payments made by physical check, by phone using a credit or debit card, or in person. No convenience fee is charged for payments submitted electronically through the customer portal or for accounts enrolled in ACH automatic draft.


Physical Invoice Fee:

A physical invoice fee will be assessed for each paper invoice issued when a customer elects to receive mailed invoices instead of electronic invoices delivered through the customer portal.


Failed Payment Fee:

A failed payment fee will be assessed if a payment is declined, rejected, or returned for any reason, including insufficient funds, invalid account information, or payment processor rejection.


Late Fee:

A late fee will be assessed and may continue to accrue when payment is received after the due date as outlined in the applicable billing schedule.


Service Reinstatement Fee:

A service reinstatement fee will be assessed when service has been suspended for nonpayment and the customer requests to bring the account current and resume service.


Container Redelivery Fee:

A container redelivery fee will be assessed when a container has been removed due to nonpayment and service is reinstated, requiring delivery of a replacement container.


Account Transfer Fee:

An account transfer fee will be assessed when a customer requests service to be transferred to a new address or when account ownership is changed to another individual or entity. This fee covers the administrative processing and account setup required to complete the transfer.


Third Party Payment Policy:

Payments may be made by a third party on behalf of the customer. Payments will be applied to the account number provided at the time of payment. Acceptance of a third party payment does not transfer account ownership, modify service responsibility, or create any rights for the third party. All charges, fees, and obligations remain the responsibility of the account holder. Refunds, credits, or account changes will only be issued at the direction of the account holder on file.


Container Replacement Fee (Residential Only):

A container replacement fee may be assessed if a residential container is damaged, lost, or stolen due to circumstances outside of our control.


Overage Tags (Residential Only):

Overage tags may be purchased to receive collection service for additional trash bags that do not fit inside the Delta Waste Solutions provided garbage container on the scheduled day of service.
